Mom, I still remember those beach house days with friends around, the water nearby, and me learning how to play ring toss in the middle of all that easy happiness.

At the time, I was probably just having fun. Now I understand that those kinds of days do not come from nowhere. You helped make life feel open enough for laughter, friends, and simple joy to happen naturally. That is a bigger gift than I knew back then.
