For The Way Home Grew With Us

Mom, I keep thinking about coming home from out of town as an adult and realizing it still felt like home with you there. Different than when I was a kid, but still familiar. Still warm. Still ours.

Now I understand what a gift that is. Not every kind of home survives growing up, but the one you made did. It changed with us, and I see your love in that more clearly now.

Today I am praying for slow, steady healing around you. No rushing. Just rest, protection, and love meeting you right where you are. I love you so much, Mom.

With all my love, your son
